Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation is pleased to offer you two tools to promote good business ethics.
Practical Ethics for Practical Managers is a series of brief essays/guidelines that are easy to read and highly relevant to the day-to-day activities of any business. Created by Dave Hoffberg, a retired corporate attorney and an instructor at The College at Brockport, they form the basis for lively discussions on such issues as lying, office romance, sexual harassment, whistle-blowing, conflicts of interest and more. We encourage managers to download them, copy and distribute them and use them with their staffs in meetings, retreats and other forums.
Business Ethics is a monthly column written for the Rochester Business Journal by Jim Nortz, compliance director at Bausch & Lomb and a member of the RABEF steering committee. These essays provide managers with a more detailed, thought-provoking look at what is current on the business ethics frontier. These reprints are offered here with permission of the RBJ.
Please note that these columns and essays are for information and discussion purposes only and are not intended as legal advice.
