The Rochester Business Ethics Award or ETHIE is a regional annual award program that recognizes local organizations that exemplify high standards of ethical behavior in their everyday business practices and in response to crises or challenges.
The RBEA is modeled on the national American Business Ethics Award, which was founded in 1994 by the National Society of Financial Service Professionals. The Society of Financial Service Professionals, Rochester, NY Chapter, Inc. established the RBEA in 2003 under the umbrella of the national society. All finalists from the local program are entered into the national program, and we’ve had three of our recipients recognized in national competition: Midnight Janitorial, Paetec and QED Technologies.
