The RBEA  luncheon is the culmination of a 9-month process in which area companies submit detailed descriptions of their business ethics policies and practices. An independent panel of judges determines the award recipients in three categories: large companies (more than 150 employees); mid-sized companies (50 to 150 employees); and small companies (fewer than 50 employees).

The Rochester Business Ethics Award is a program of the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation, sponsored by the Rochester Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Rochester Business Alliance, and St. John Fisher College.  The awards program was established in 1994 by the National Society of Financial Service Professionals.  The Rochester awards were initiated in 2003.

In addition to the awards program, the RABEF funds an annual scholarship for business students at St. John Fisher College and sponsors a variety of events throughout the year that promote business ethics.

Invitations and/or tickets to the event are available by calling The Rivers Organization at 383-1060 or by using the online ticket order form.
