The RBEA luncheon is the culmination of a 9-month process in which area companies submit detailed descriptions of their business ethics policies and practices. An independent panel of judges determines the award recipients.

The awards program was established in 1994 by the National Society of Financial Service Professionals.  The Rochester awards were initiated in 2003.

In addition to the awards program, the RABEF funds an annual scholarship for business students at area colleges such as St. John Fisher College and R.I.T. and sponsors a variety of events throughout the year that promote business ethics. 

The 2011 Rochester Business Ethics Award luncheon will be held at the
Rochester Riverside Convention Center on Tuesday, September 20th.
