Midnight Janitorial, a Rochester office cleaning company founded in 2005 by
Angella Luyk, will receive a 2009 American Business Ethics Award at a national
award ceremony and convention in Phoenix,

(August 18, 2009) RABEF unveils Practical Ethics for Practical Managers
In an effort to help executives, managers and other
thought leaders make the discussion of good business ethics a part of their
regular meetings, the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation announces a
new, free resource for area businesses, companies and corporations: Practical
Ethics for Practical Managers, a series of brief, useful and relevant
essays/discussion points on contemporary ethics issues. read more
(July 24, 2009) Finalists Announced for 2009 Rochester Business Ethics Award
The Rochester Area
Business Ethics Foundation and its sponsoring institutions and partners announce the finalists in the 2009 Rochester Business Ethics Award.
As decided by a panel of independent judges, four companies have submitted award entries judged to be outstanding descriptions of their commitment to ethical business practices,
earning them places as finalists: ConServe, Dawnbreaker, xpedx and Parrone Engineering. read more
(Sept. 23, 2008) Recipients of the 2008 Rochester Business Ethics Awards, scholarships announced
Two Rochester companies - Doyle Security Systems, Inc. and Midnight Janitorial - today have been designated as recipients of the 2008 Rochester Business Ethics Awards. The announcement was made at an awards luncheon today at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center attended by close to 500 people.
The keynote address was made by Dr. Michael Hoffman, executive director of the Center for Business Ethics at Bentley College and an acknowledged founder of the modern business ethics movement in America. read more
